When world-renowned wine critic Yutaka Kanzaki dies, his estranged son Shizuku learns of a stipulation in his father's will: Shizuku may only inherit the estate if he can identify by taste the twelve wines his father deemed to be the best in the world. Shizuku also learns that he is in direct competition with Issei Tomine, a promising young wine critic and Shizuku's adopted brother.
This is one instance where the American version of a manga has a completely different look from the original. Because The Drops of God is aimed at a more adult audience, I aimed for a look that adults might feel more comfortable picking up and reading.
