Peepo Choo is a graphic novel (in more ways than one) wherein geeks and gangsters clash with culture and stereotypes. There is a lot of sex, blood, and violence in this series--but also a surprising amount of character maturity.
The cover designs for these books are based off of the Japanese originals. The character artwork featured on the front and back is the same, but other aspects are very different. The background is the phrase "Peepo Choo" in Japanese. The original title logo was used as a design element on the original Japanese book, but I felt it was underdeveloped. As a focal point it would have lacked impact on an English-speaking audience. Therefore, I rearranged the alignment and added an ink splatter to give it some extra punch.
